Set 4 of the Silk Exercises is performed seated. Starting to Internalise the movement.

- Hands Holding up the Sky: From Set 4.
- Hands Holding up the Sky: From Set 3.
- Single Arm Lift: From Set 3.
- Archery: From Set 2.
- Fist Play with Glaring Eyes: From Set 4.
- Head Shaking and Buttock Swaying: From Set 2.
- Shaking the Head and Waving the Tail: From the Ten Fundamental Treasures.

The Silk exercises Qigong are the forerunners of the Ba Duan Jin and of the Ten Fundamental Treasures. There are four sets that begin with exercises that are more physical in nature and gradually develop to become more Internal.
These recordings are of the Silk Exercises Qigong classes. These are Intermediate level classes and you will need to be familiar with the various stances used (Wuji stance and Horse Riding stance. Even so, we begin with the basic, physical, movements before working with the Internal. If you are unsure of the basics I recommend that you do the Qigong for Beginners course.
